See beautiful Bondi Beach through a local’s eyes, get to know the hidden spots and see things you wouldn’t if you went alone.
We start the day off at 10am, you will be picked up from your hotel by your guide who will be not only be extremely knowledgeable about the area but also a professional life saver and surf instructor. Once on board our delux Kombi we will drive you through the city to the beach, checking out some great sites on the way.
The first activity on the list is our Discover Bondi Tour. Find out why Bondi Beach is such an important part of Sydney’s beach and coastal lifestyle, the home of surf lifesaving and the famous Bondi Lifeguards. Fun, interactive and informative we will take you on a relaxed guided walking tour, which allow you to learn all about the colourful history of Bondi and how surf lifesaving began. You will also get an exclusive tour inside Australia’s oldest surf lifesaving clubs and have your photo taken with a Bondi Lifesaver on Bondi’s golden sand.
Next activity is a surf lesson! Awaken the surfer within you during this introductory group surf lesson, even if this is your first time around a board, we’ll have you safely up and onto your first wave before you’ve had time to worry about falling off. We surf in small groups (maximum 5), starting with important surf and safety rules and covering all the basics from warm-up to paddling, catching waves and standing. All equipment is included; surfboard, wetsuit, sunscreen, rash vest and zinc! Already had some experience surfing? No worries, we will adapt the lesson around all abilities.
All of these activities you will definitely build up an appetite, so the next stop is lunch! Get ready to enjoy a delicious beach side lunch overlooking beautiful Bondi Beach, this place has 5 stars views and is a local’s favourite.
