What got you hooked on surfing?

Once I stood up on my first wave, I was hooked. What really kept me in it was the travel and the good times with mates. Surfing’s taken me to some amazing places and introduced me to some of my closest friends.

What’s the best thing about working at a surf school?

Seeing someone stand up for the first time! That moment of surprise and excitement on their face never gets old. It’s awesome being part of someone’s first surf memory.

What’s one tip you always give new surfers?

Don’t take it too seriously, just have fun with it. Everyone wipes out & everyone starts somewhere. The more you enjoy it, the better you’ll get.
