What got you hooked on surfing?

The first wave I caught when Iwas young. From there it was nonstop for me. Just being able to be out in the water, read the ocean and move with it.

What’s the best thing about working at a surf school?

Watching people enjoy the same thing I do. It’s incredibly rewarding watching people grow not just as surfers but also their love for the sport. It brings people together in a magical way.

What’s one tip you always give new surfers?

Everyone progresses differently so never beat yourself down. You’re already one step ahead by getting out there. Surfing will teach you patience with the waves, with progress and with yourself. Just have fun!
