What’s the best thing about working at a surf school?

Seeing progression, sometimes only in a single hour. A lot of the time from women on waves or six week course students that are nervous to surf at the start of their course, to building confidence enough that I see them out the back on my solo surfs!

What’s one tip you always give new surfers?

Look where you’re going! It’s natural to look at your feet when you start surfing but fight against the urge.
