What got you hooked on surfing?

I was a member of North Bondi Surf Club Nippers. I cut my teeth at age 8 in the North Bondi Corner on a Midget Farrelly single fin coolite! (the nipple cripple club. No rashies, no wetties) standing up on a wave!!! wooshka! hooked!

What’s the best thing about working at a surf school?

Actually seeing the feeling of deep connection with the ocean & sheer fun wash over someone’s fear & self doubt will always echo with me.

What’s one tip you always give new surfers?

Have fun! its not a competition!
